Heart to Art

A sixty-day challenge, led by Grace

Write a real musical — without reading a note of music

Writing a musical is a skill, not a gift — and skills can be learned, at any age. Grace wrote a full musical — Whatever Happened to Lola? — without being able to play a single instrument. Over sixty days she'll show you exactly how she did it, one small step each day, and you'll finish with a real, finished musical of your own.

    Created for You

Love the idea, but want me to create it for you?

Sometimes the occasion is too important, the project is too big, or you'd simply rather have someone experienced take care of the whole thing. That's where my Created for You service comes in — every commission starts with a personal one-to-one conversation with me.

    Your Own Original Musical

Have you ever thought, "That would make a brilliant musical…"?

Perhaps you have a story. Perhaps you have characters. Perhaps you simply have an idea that refuses to leave you alone. I'll work personally with you to develop that initial spark into an original musical — creating the story, characters, script and songs and helping turn the idea in your head into something that can actually be heard, read and performed.

    Your package includes:

    • In-depth creative development sessions with me
    • Development of your original concept and story
    • Character development
    • A complete musical script
    • 12 original songs
    • Original song lyrics
    • Musical development and production
    • Vocal demo recordings
    • Backing tracks for the songs
    • Development and refinement throughout the creative process
    • A complete script and digital music package

For projects moving towards rehearsal or performance, a Professional Sheet Music Package is available from an additional £3,000. Because every musical is different, this service begins with an initial creative conversation before the scope and commission are agreed.

Talk to Me About Your Musical

You bring the story. I'll create the finished piece.

    Who it's for

    The moment this is for

There's a story that's been waiting for years. A what-if that won't leave you alone. A character you can already hear singing. Or just the desire to make something extraordinary — something you didn't even know you could make. This is that challenge.

    The months, stage by stage

    Sixty days, one real musical

Each stage brings one step. One short lesson, one page of your Creative Journal, one ready-to-use prompt. Nothing to catch up on if a day runs long — the journal holds your place.

    Days 1–10

The story. Your musical needs a story before it needs a song. Grace's questions help you find it — the one worth singing.

    Days 11–20

The book. The script. The characters. The structure that holds a whole show together. Your Creative Brief becomes a real dramatic arc.

    Days 21–30

The songs. Where does the music go? Which moments need to sing? You'll place the songs like a composer would.

    Days 31–40

The lyrics. Write the words to every song. The method turns your gathered stories into lyrics that land.

    Days 41–50

The music. Take those lyrics into Suno. Choose the styles. Hear your words become music for the first time.

    Days 51–60

Refine and finish. Listen like a producer. Cut what doesn't earn its place. Build the cast recording. Done is a gift. Perfect is a hobby.

    Your guide

    Who's teaching you

Grace Farrelly — celebrant, songwriter, and the writer behind hundreds of personal songs through Made for You Music. She wrote a full musical — Whatever Happened to Lola? — without being able to play a single instrument. She has spent 15 years at kitchen tables helping families find the right words for the biggest moments of their lives.

"It's not AI creating it. It comes from me. From my heart."

    Before you decide

    Honest answers

Do I need any musical experience?

No. Grace can't read a note of music. That's the whole point. You bring the story and the imagination; the method and the tools do the rest.

Is this just "type a prompt, get a musical"?

No — that's exactly what we teach you to go beyond. Generic prompts make generic musicals. The method is the difference.

    What if I fall behind?

Nothing expires. Every lesson and journal page stays yours, and the daily emails wait patiently in your inbox.

    What if I get stuck?

The journal, the prompts, the daily lessons and the group walk you through every stage — and the guarantee below holds.
